Originally crafted exclusively for the family of founder Don Facundo Bacardi, Bacardi Reserva Limitada Rum was kept from public consumption for generations before finally receiving a commercial release in 2003 to celebrate the opening of the distillery’s visitor center. For many years this rum was only available in select parts of the Caribbean.
Composed only of the label’s finest rums, Bacardi Reserva Limitada Rum Gift Box is aged in lightly charred American white oak barrels for ten to sixteen years. The resulting rum is a deep reddish gold in color, and has a rich, smooth taste with hints of vanilla, oak and dried fruit.
We are delighted to be able to source some extremely limited quantities for sale in Australia.

A family-owned company for seven generations, current day Bacardi employs 6,000 people, manufactures at 27 facilities in 16 markets on four continents, with sales in more than 150 countries.
The bat had always been a symbol of good fortune, so when Doña Amalia Bacardí spotted fruit bats in the family’s distillery, she insisted it be used as their symbol. Today it remains on the bottle, helping the family survive whatever fate throws at it.
