Rum Swizzle Cocktail Pack for making the famous ‘Bermuda Rum Swizzle’:
INGREDIENTS (Makes 6)
- 120ml Gosling’s Black Seal Rum
- 120ml Gosling’s Gold Rum
- 150ml Pineapple Juice
- 150ml Orange Juice
- 60ml Falernum
- 6 dashes of Angostura Bitters
- Optional but recommended: Add lots of fresh lime juice (makes it less sweet)
Into a pitcher ⅓ full of crushed ice add Gosling’s Black Seal Rum, Gosling’s Gold Rum, pineapple juice, orange juice, Falernum and Angostura bitters. Churn vigorously until a frothing appears or mix in a cocktail shaker. Strain into a martini glass.
Over the years, Gosling’s Black Seal Rum has become synonymous with the Bermuda region – it is an essential ingredient in the island flavour to the ‘Bermuda Rum Swizzle’, as well as being the tempest in Bermuda’s favorite cocktail, the ‘Dark ‘n Stormy’.
