Togouchi Kiwami Japanese Blended Whisky is one of the newest expression of Chugoku Jozo blending expertise, produced by the little-known Chugoku Jozo in Japan.
This whisky is the result of the blending of malt and grain whisky of different ages and origins, including Scotland, that then undergo a complementary aging in Japan in an exceptional place; a vintage railway tunnel with the ideal atmosphere for a balanced aging. We have no doubt that you will appreciate this.
Whisky maturation control in barrels at Chugoku Jozo is perfected as the temperature of the tunnel in Togouchi is always 15 degrees. Also, the temperature of a second cellar at the headquarters in Hatsukaichi city is a little higher than that. They use these two cellars differently and mature the whisky through temperature control.
Togouchi Kiwami Japanese Blended Whisky is part of the Togouchi range including the 9 Year and exceptional 15 Year expressions.
