Born in Belgrave, VIC, Killik Handcrafted Rum is a family run distillery that aims to fill the void of great Australian rum. Killik wanted to create products that were not only top tier in quality, but are also the most unique Australian rum you can find.
Their rums utilise a wild ferment to create a high ester characteristic known as “hogo” in the rum scene. Killik is the first dedicated rum distillery to commit to this traditionally Jamaican style of rum making. The Killik lineup is perfect for creating classic cocktails or enjoyed neat.
Killik or Killick?
The name “Killik” is derived from the word “killick”, being an old anchor handcrafted by encasing stone in a wooden frame. To us, Killik represents strength and stability, while taking a nod to the classic archetype of bottles of rum making their way around the Caribbean on old rustic ships.
Philosophy
Killik are passionate about crafting premium rum to be enjoyed by enthusiasts and casual rum drinkers alike.
