Velier Isautier 15 Year Old Small Batch has been made possible through the collaboration with Cyril Isautier and La Maison & Velier had the opportunity to choose two old casks of exceptional rums: a traditional rum and an agricole rum, both distilled in 2004 and then matured, first for one year in new barrels and then 15 years in red barrels (When a barrel is called ‘RED’ – reddish colour of aged wood, it means it has reached the perfect stage of maturation for both the wood and the spirit, allowing for an ideally balanced exchange between the two).
Isautier rums are perfectly representative of the unique know-how, style and historical tradition of the House.
This Velier Isautier 15 Year Old Small Batch is the 3rd installment from Velier and is Traditional Rum from molasses that has been barrelled in 2007 and was aged 15 years, until 2022.
